- This boomerang is from the Hunter Valley region of New South Wales, Australia. The wooden boomerang has a small central curve and tapers to a point at both ends. Both surfaces of the boomerang are convex or curve outwards. Thread has been wrapped around one end of the boomerang to a repair a split in the wood. The boomerang was collected by Alexander Morrison in the late 19th or early 20th Century. It was acquired by the Australian Museum in 1982.
