- This boomerang is from the Hunter Valley region of New South Wales, Australia. The wooden boomerang has a small central curve. Both surfaces of the boomerang are convex or curve outwards. There is a crack in one end of the boomerang. A piece of steel wire has been wrapped around the cracked end of the boomerang. The boomerang was collected by Alexander Morrison in the late 19th or early 20th Century. It was acquired by the Australian Museum in 1982.
