- This boomerang is from the Hunter Valley region of New South Wales, Australia. The wooden boomerang has a central curve and tapers to a rounded point at both ends One surface of the boomerang is convex or curves outwards, while the other is concave or curves inwards. There is a significant twist or warp in the boomerang. The boomerang was collected by Alexander Morrison in the late 19th or early 20th Century. It was acquired by the Australian Museum in 1979.
