- A decorated bamboo smoking pipe, probably from the Bariji River region of Papua New Guinea's Oro Province. Pipes were sometimes decorated with a clan motif. In 1915 Mrs Lynda Manning donated the pipe to the Museum. She was the widow of a Papua New Guinea official, Mr Guy Manning, a collector of ethnological material and keen photographer.
