Painted wooden ushabti (funerary figurine) inscribed in hieratic (an Egyptian cursive writing system). From the site of the King Mentuhotep Temple in Deir el-Bahri, near Luxor, Egypt. Attributed to the 12th to 18th dynasties. Acquired in 1907 via the Egypt Exploration Fund. Size: approximately: 15 x 2.5 cm.
