Malagan horizontal plank or lintel made from alstonia scholaris, lime, ochre, pandanus fruit fibres and resin. The face at the centre of the board is that of Lururu. Lururu is the man who has a protuding tongue as if he swallowed unpalatable food. Purchased from Captain Farrell, Northern New Ireland, New Ireland Province, PNG, 1887.
