Malagan mask made from alstonia scholaris wood and ornamented with shell, lime, ochre, paint, barkcloth, coconut and seaweed. This mask has different styles on each side. One side features spirals of fibre and barkcloth surrounding a central shell eye. Purchased from Captain Farrell in 1887. Tabar Island, New Ireland Province.
