Malagan dancing mask made from alstonia scholaris, turbo petholatus, lime, ochre, barkcloth, resins, coconut, seed capsules and banana fibre. This mask was said to have been used at an annual peace festival on Tatua Island. Purchased from Weisser in 1883. Tatua Island, Tabar Group, New Ireland Province, PNG.
