Label:
A reed arrow with a wooden point attached with resin, string and a leather band. The oval cross-section point has geometric incisions and notches carved into it. The bone point and barb are attached with plant fibre and resin. It is said to be used in warfare. It is called "opop" and "le op" by the Meriam people. It is from the old 1910 collection; collected by C.M. Lewis in 1836. (144.5x1.8cm.)
