Label:
A reed arrow with carved wooden points, attached with string and a lizard skin band. The carving on the points is filled with white ochre. The bone tip and barb are attached with fibre and resin. They are said to be used in warfare and are called "opop" and "le op" by the Meriam people. It is from the old 1910 collection; collected by C.M. Lewis in 1836. (156.1x1.4cm.)
