This painting on cotton cloth depicts the Death of Bhishma, one of the strongest characters in the Indian Hindu epic Mahabharata. The artists were Rumiarsih and Rupini and Anthony Forge acquired the painting in 1979, in the Balinese village of Kamasan. Size 89x81 cm.
