This painting is on paper and is possibly a transitional or experimental work done in watercolours. The painting portrays the brothers Rama and Laksemana ensnared by naga (snakes). The artist is unknown, however it is assumed to have been painted in the 1920s or 1930s in the Balinese village of Kamasan. Anthony Forge acquired the painting in 1971-72. Size: 74x56cm.
