This tabing (temple painting) on European cloth portrays the confrontation of Salia and Sutasoma a scene from the Mahabharata an ancient Sanskrit epic from India. Anthony Forge commissioned the artist Mangku Mura to produce the painting in 1972 and Forge acquired it the same year. Szie: 120x94cm.
