This painting on European cloth portrays Kala Rau, the bodiless head of a demon. The artist Nyoman Dogol painted it in the Balinese village of Kamasan in the 1930s-40s. The painting was collected by Anthony Forge in 1971-72 from the family temple at Kamasan. Size: 138x130cm.
