This Kamasan painting on European cloth has been attributed to Nyoman Dogol (1876-1965), one of Baliís most eminent artists. It was possibly painted in the 1930s. Anthony Forge is believed to have collected the painting in the Klungkung region of Bali in 1972-73. The painting portrays the legendary hero Arjuna Wiwaha and demon Detia Kwaca. Size: 172x118.
